3 qt water
1 qt white vinegar
1 cup canning salt


pickles
grape leaves
dill
garlic cloves
peppercorns
mustard seed
alum
hot pepper or crushed red pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Bring water, vinegar and canning salt to a boil.
Put pickles in jar, with 1 grape leaf and 1 head of dill, 2 cloves of garlic, 6-8 peppercorns, 1/4 tsp mustard seed, and 1/8 tsp alum to each jar. You can add 1 hot pepper to each jar or crushed red pepper. (I'm thinking now you add the vinegar mixture to the jars?? )

Place in water bath?
