1 - 1/2 cups crisco
3 cups sugar
6 eggs
3 cups all purpose flour
1/4 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup buttermilk
1 - 1/2 tsp flavoring (your choice)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º.
Cream crisco and sugar, add eggs, 1 at a time; sift flour, soda and salt, and add alternately with buttermilk. Add flavoring.

Bake at 325º for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
