"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
3-4 qts. popped corn 1 c. brown sugar 1 stick of butter 1/4 c. white corn syrup (reg. will do in a pinch) 1/2 tsp. salt
Place 3-4 quarts of popped corn into a paper grocery bag.
Mix remaining ingredients in a 2 qt. dish. Cook in microwave until it boils then cook for 2 minutes more. Pour this mixture over the popped corn in the bag and shake it well. Cook bag in microwave for 1-1/2 minutes. Shake bag and then cook for another 1-1/2 minutes in microwave. Empty into bowl and serve. Throw away the messy bag.
I got this recipe from my mother's neighbor - great family fun and NO CLEAN UP!
