1 c. butter (2 sticks)
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix ingredients together. Chill dough for half hour. Roll dough into balls and place on cookie sheets. Dip the bottom of a glass in water, and then in sugar and smash the balls with the glass.

Bake at 350 for 7 to 10 minutes.
