cup vegetable oil
cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. Vanilla
cup unsweetened applesauce
cup whole wheat flour
cup unbleached flour
2 tsp. Baking powder
tsp. Baking soda
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1/8 tsp. Cloves
cup rolled oats
cup raisins

Cream the oil and sugar together. Add eggs and beat until light. Blend the vanilla and applesauce. Add dry ingredients. Blend well.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto lightly oiled baking sheets. Bake at 375 F for 10 minutes. Cool on wire rack. 1 cookie = 56 calories.
