1 lb. Lean ground beef
1 lg. Onion
1 Green pepper, chopped
2 tbsp. + 2 tsp. chili powder
1 lg. Clove of garlic, minced
1 Fresh jalapeño pepper, seeded & chopped
1 can Diced tomatoes
1 can Tomato sauce
½ tsp. Cumin
½ tsp. Marjoram
¼ tsp. Thyme
1 can Kidney beans
1 can Mushrooms
1 can Tomato paste

Directions:
Directions:
Cook first 3 ingredients in large saucepan until meat is browned. Drain excess fat. Place in slow cooker; add remaining ingredients, stirring well.
Place on high for 2 hrs, then on low for 2 hours.
