6 large potatoes-peeled and cut into 1/2 in. cubes
4 c. (16 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese
1 can ( 10-3/4 oz.) condensed cream of chicken
soup
1 c. ( 8 oz.) sour cream
1/4 c. butter- melted
8 green onions- chopped (optional)
Dash of salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Place potatoes in large saucepan and cover with water. Bring to boil. Reduce heat; cover and cook for 12-15 minutes or until tender. Drain.

In large bowl, combine the remaining ingredients; gently stir in potatoes.

Transfer to a GREASED 13 in. x 9 in.baking dish ( dish will be very full- use a deep dish if ya have one)
Bake, UNcovered, at 350 for 40-45 minutes or until bubbly.
Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
