"As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy, and to make plans."--Ernest Hemingway

Directions:
To prepare sauce: heat butter in small saucepan until amber in color. Add lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, pepper, and chives. Blend thoroughly and simmer for 5 minutes. Yields about 3/4 c. enough for 4-5 (9") kabobs. To prepare kabobs: arrange steak, onion, green pepper, tomato, and mushrooms on skewers. Place on grill about 5-6 inches from the coals. Brown slowly for 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally and brushing with Butter Barbeque Sauce. Place kabobs on double thick, 12-inch squares of foil; top each with 2 T sauce. Double foil over top, twist ends. Place on grill over medium heat, folded side up, for 10-15 minutes.
