"A man who was fond of wine was offered some grapes at dessert after dinner. "Much obliged," said he, pushing the plate aside; "I am not accustomed to take my wine in pills."--Jean Antheleme Brillat-Savarin, The Physiology of Taste

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This marinade is delicious for shish kabob, round steak, or chuck roast. It is especially good if a rolled or rump roast is marinated 3 days, and then charcoal broiled. Start the roast on the charcoal grill. When it is halfway done, remove it, wrap in heavy aluminum foil, and finish cooking it in the oven. It will make a delicious gravy when it finishes cooking.
