2 cups milk scalded
3/4 cup shortening
1/4 cup butter of oleo
1/2 cup of sugar
2 tsp salt
2 eggs beaten
2 pkgs dry yeast
6 cups of shifted flour

cool milk to warm, sprinkle yeast over top and let soften, cream shortening, add butter, add sugar and salt, cream together until light and fluffy
add eggs, yeast milk and enough flour to make soft dough, knead until smooth and elastic, place in a greased bowl and let rise until double
roll dough thin (1/4 inch) and cut into 2 inch rounds, dip each in melted butter( about 1 cup)then in cinnamon sugar ( mix tbsp cinnamon and 1 cup sugar)
stand up in 2 well greased ring molds
8 1/2 round and 2 1/4 deep until ring is filled
let rise until light
Bake @ 350 for 25 minutes
