2 cups bread cubes
2 cups milk, scalded
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c brown sugar
1 t vanilla
1/2 t salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º. Butter casserole dish. Put bread cubes in dish and mix remaining ingredients well and pour over bread. Sprinkle cinnamon over top. Put a little water in a metal pan, then set casserole dish in the metal pan and set in oven. Bake for 55 to 65 minutes or until set.

Option: 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips sprinkled over top after removed from oven. Let melt, then spread. This is a big hit with the kids. Me, too!
