Butter 9 x 13 pan
Cook 1 c. rice
1 t. salt
2 c. cold water
Boil 15 minutes, turn off heat and let set 10 minutes more.
Add:
1 rounded c. sugar (1 1/2 c. is better)
1 c. raisins, washed and cooked with 1/2 c. sugar
3 1/2 c. milk
1/2 s. sego milk
6 beaten eggs
1 t. vanilla
1/2 t. lemon extract (or juice and rind of 1/2 lemon)

Directions:

Sprinkle top with nutmeg and dot with butter. Bake at least 1 hour at 325 degrees.
