2 pounds good stew beef
juice of 1 lemon
butter
flour
salt
1 cup sour cream
2 onions cut up
1/2 pound fresh mushrooms cut up

Directions:
Directions:
Cut beef in very small pieces, Sprinkle with lemon juice and let sit for 1/2 hour.
cook beef until tender in iron pot in a small amount of water and salt.
Meanwhile cook onions gently in butter until brown.
Remove from skillet and cook mushrooms about 10 minutes
If beef seems watery, sprinkle with flour to thicken slightly.
Add mushrooms and onions to the beef and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
Add sour cream and serve.

This is very good made the day before and heated up slowly before serving
