1 box yellow cake mix
2 cans cherry pie filling ( or your favorite fruit filling)
1 stick butter

You will need a dutch oven with lid and charcoal briskets, or a cast iron skillet with lid and cowboy kitchen. Spray cooking spray ( or use foil ) in the bottom of the dutch oven or skillet. Spread the pie filling in the pan, then spread the dry cake mix on top. Cut the butter into 1 tbsp pads and place on top of cake mix. Place the lid on the dutch oven. Place the dutch oven directly on the coals and put some coals on top of the lid. It takes about 45 minutes to cook, depending on the heat of the fire. Check Often!!
