1 pie crust
5-7 tart apples (I like McIntosh or Gala)
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 tsp cinnamon
3/4 cup flour
1/3 cup sugar
6 tbsp butter or margarine (not too soft)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375.
Peel, core and cut apples in 1/8ths. Arrange in pie shell.
Mix 1/2 cup sugar with cinnamon and pour over apples in the shell.
Mix 1/3 cup sugar with flour. Cut butter into this mix until it makes course crumbs. Pour over apples to cover evenly.
Bake for 35-40 minutes. If pie shell browns too quickly, cover edges with foil.
