CAKE:
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 sticks butter
1/3 c. cocoa
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. soda

ICING:
1 stick butter
16 oz. powdered sugar
1/3 c. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecan chips

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, flour, salt and soda together and set aside. In small sauce pan bring water, butter and cocoa to a boil over medium heat. Combine this with the dry ingredients, eggs, buttermilk and vanilla. Beat together and pour into a large jelly roll pan and bake at 350º for 15 minutes. (While cake is still in the oven start making the icing):

Bring the stick of butter to a boil. Add remaining ingredients and pour over hot cake.

The whole cake can be ready from start to finish in as little as thirty minutes and serves a lot of chocolate loving people!
