2 large cans tomato puree
1 large can diced tomatoes
1 small onion diced and sautéed
1 teaspoon each sugar, basil, Italian seasoning, dry mustard.
2 bay leaves
Ground beef and or Italian sausage cooked and drained

Lasagna Noodles cooked and cooled
1 lb ricotta cheese
2 eggs
1 tsp. cinnamon
Mozzarella, Romano, provolone cheeses (2 cup packages each)

Cook noodles and cool.
Mix together 1 lb ricotta cheese, 2 eggs and the cinnamon
Mix mozzarella, Romano, provolone cheeses
Layer: sauce, noodles, ricotta mixture, 1/3 cheeses, sauce, noodles, ricotta, etc.
Ending with 1/3 cheeses and Parmesan on top

Bake @ 350 for 30 min or until cheese melts and bubbly

I got this recipe from my niece Kathy, who was dating a guy who's family owned this wonderful restaurant in Merrimack NH years ago. I thought it was delicious! The cinnamon makes it special.
