Banana Nut Bread Recipe

1/3 C Shortening or butter
1/2 C Sugar or 1/4 C honey
2 Eggs
1 3/4 C Flour
1 tsp. Baking powder
1/2 tsp. Nutmeg
1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
1/2 tsp. Baking soda
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 C mashed banana
1/2 C Walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Bake at º350 for 45-50 Minutes

Cream together Shortening or butter, sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Sift together dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture, alternately with banana blending well after each addition. Stir in nuts.

Pout into well-greased 9x5x3" loaf pan and bake. Remove from pan and cool on rack. Wrap and store in fridge overnight.
