1# butter (4 sticks)
1 cup sugar
4 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add flour. Stir or knead until bowl is clean.

Make 3 round balls and shape into large disks. Pinch edges and poke with a fork (make a score across the cookie into quarters or eighths). Bake in slow oven (approximately 300º) until brown, about 45-60 minutes.

Let cool on pan. Break down the scored lines, or into pieces to serve.
