1/4 cup plus 2 tbsp butter, melted
1 cup of brown sugar
1 egg beaten
1/2 cup applesauce
1 tsp grated orange rind
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/4 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp soda
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar
1 1/2 tbsp orange juice
1/2 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Combine first 6 ingredients in bowl, mix well.
combine dry ingredients
add to applesauce mixture, mix well
stir in pecans
spoon batter into greased 12 x8x2 inch baking pan.
Bake@350 for 25 minutes
Combine powdered sugar, orange juice, and vanilla.
Spread over warm cake.
