"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
This recipe for Cookie Candy, by Kerry Rhymer, is from Special Family Recipies,
one of the cookbooks created at FamilyCookbookProject.com. We help
families or individuals create heirloom cookbook treasures.
1 stick butter 1 package graham crackers 1 bag chocolate chips 1 bag butterscotch chips 1 cup coconut 1/2 cup chopped walnut 1/4 cup sugar 1 can sweetened condensed milk
Put butter in a 9x13 pan in oven while it preheats to 375º. Make graham crackers into crumbs and add sugar. In a bowl mix the rest of the ingredients together. Put crumbs into the pan with the melted butter and pat down for a crust. Put the rest of the ingredients in the pan except the condensed milk. Now drizzle the milk on top all over and bake for 25 minutes.
