Ingredients:  
4 cups sugar
1 can evaporated milk (12 oz)
2 sticks of butter
1 12oz package semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vanilla
can add 1 cup nuts chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Cook to soft ball; sugar, evaporated milk and 1 stick butter in heavy deep pan. Simmer rapidly, when it becomes a soft ball, remove from heat. Stir in last stick of butter, chocolate chips and vanilla- nuts if you would like. Pour into a 9x13 pan to cool.
