1 cup butter
1 cup sifted powder sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups sifted flour
1 tablespoon brandy
1 cup black walnuts, finely chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar, salt, and vanilla together until fluffy. Stir in the flour and add the brandy and chopped walnuts and mix well. Shape into 3/4 inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in oven at 350 for about 20 minutes until lightly browned.
