Approx. 1 lb fresh broccoli (4 servings)
1 lb your favorite noodles (curlicues/macaroni works best)
1 pint sour cream
1 small can tomatoes
1 medium can of tomato paste
Salt, pepper, ground herbs (rosemary, thyme, oregano)
1/2 lb grated cheese (optional)

Directions:

Boil noodles in salt water until done.

Cut broccoli stalks from head (save to shred into green salads), break/cut broccoli head into individual "roses" - steam until tender.

Mix canned tomatoes (drained), sour cream and tomato paste thoroughly. Drain noodles and pour into a baking dish, tossing thoroughly with the tomato mixture to coat them. Sprinkle liberally with ground herbs. Place steamed broccoli roses on top and heat through in a medium oven, topping with grated cheese if so desired.
