1 cup Crisco or margarine 1 cup sugar 1 cup brown sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 2 cups flour 2 tsp. soda 2 tsp. cinnamon, optional 1/2 tsp. salt 2 cups oatmeal 1 cup chocolate chips
Cream Crisco and sugar and add eggs and vanilla and beat well. Sift flour, soda, cinnamon and salt together. Mix in dry ingredients and stir in oatmeal and chips. Drop by teaspoonful unto greased cookie sheet. Bake 12 minutes in a 350º oven. Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
