1 Vidalia onion (or Walla Walla or Washington sweet onion)
1 tsp butter
1 tsp beef boulian (or 2 cubes)
1 tsp brown sugar

Cut hole in top of onion and place all ingredients into center of onion. Bake in microwave until cooked (about 5 minutes).

Mom (grandma Sauvageau) said Tom gave her this recipe and she wanted to add it to the book. She (and others in the family) said it is very delicious...like a caramelized onion. Goes great with patty melts or just served as a sidedish.
