Directions:A. Combine ingredients for the meatballs and shape into balls (I like the small size about the size of a walnut). Load them single layer onto a cookie sheet and cook at 350º until soft done (about 10-12 minutes). B. Cut the sausage into inch lengths. Combine with oil and onions in fry pan and cook fully on medium heat (I often add a dash of water to help mix the flavors). C. In a large sauce pan combine Prego sauce, crushed tomatoes, oregano, salt, pepper, paste and garlic powder. Bring to a simmer. Add cooked meatballs and contents of sausage fry pan (including juices). Simmer 30 minutes while stirring frequently. D. Cook spaghetti according to package directions; drain. Serve with sauce and meatballs. |

Notes: This is a recipe never made exactly the same way twice. It is always "A season to taste." The Prego sauce may be considered cheating by some, but the other added ingredients makes Mama Prego green with envy!
