2 oz. semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
1 oz. unsweetened chocolate, chopped
1/2 c. margarine or butter
3/4 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
1 T. vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 c. coarsely chopped pecans or chocolate chips

Topping:
10 vanilla caramels, unwrapped
2 T. milk
1/2 oz. unsweetened chocolate, chopped
2 t. margarine or butter
1 t. light corn syrup

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 325º. Line 9 inch springform pan w/ foil; grease. In medium saucepan, melt semi-sweet & unsweetened chocolate (1 oz) with 1/2 c. margarine, stirring constantly. Cool slightly. Add flour, sugar, vanilla & eggs, blend well. Pour into prepared pan. Sprinkle nuts or chocolate chips over batter. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes, or until set.

In small saucepan, melt caramels & milk over low heat, stirring frequently until smooth. Drizzle over bars. In same saucepan, melt 1/2 oz chocolate w/ 2 t. margarine & corn syrup. Drizzle over bars. Cool completely & cut into wedges.
