1/2 cup melted margarine
2 cans cream of chicken soup
2 cups sour cream
1/3 cup finely chopped onion
1 cup grated cheddar cheese

7 to 12 potatoes

2 Tbsp margarine
2 cups bread crumbs

Boil potatoes until tender, peel and grate. (Enough to almost fill 9x13 pan).

Mix other ingredients and pour over the top of grated potatoes and mix in. Stir 2 tablespoons melted margarine into 2 cups bread crumbs and spread over top.

Bake 30 minutes at 350. If made ahead and refrigerated, heating through takes additional time.

*Can substitute frozen hash brown "chunks" for fresh potatoes.
