9 oz. jar Tang
½ c. sugar
¼ c. Instant tea
½ tsp. ground cloves
¼ tsp. ground cinnamon
Dash of salt (optional)

Combine all ingredients and store in an airtight jar. Use 2 tsp. per cup of boiling water.

There is a thank-you card in the recipe binder that says: "Thanks for all your help with the craft classes. Hope you enjoy this Russian tea. - Amy" And then the recipe is written out as you see here. Amy and Dave Johnston were an Army couple and good friends back in Kansas. It is entirely possible that this recipe came from a completely different Amy.
