corn meal
1 egg beaten
4 tablespoons of crisco shortening
1 1/2 cup of milk
seasoned cast iron skillet

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 450º
place 2 tablespoons of crisco into skillet and place in oven for 5 minutes.
Mix the corn meal, egg, 2 tablespoons of crisco and the milk together.remove skillet and pour in mixture. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes until very crispy.
