Puree for filling:
2 cloves garlic
3/4 c. cooked chick peas
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. corn oil + 1/2 tsp. water
1/2 tsp. sesame oil

1 6-inch pita bread, halved
1/2 c. shredded lettuce
1 small tomato, diced
3 small black olives, halved

Directions:
Directions:
Blanch garlic in boiling water, about 4 minutes. Drain, cool under cold water, and discard peels. Puree filling ingredients, and place along with remaining ingredients into pita halves.
