4-6 slices abalone, pounded & diced
OR
1 lb. of halibut, cubed into 1/2" pieces

4 slices bacon, diced
1 large potato, diced
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 small clove of garlic, crushed
1 cup hot water
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
3 cups whole milk, heated
1 tsp butter or bacon drippings
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Fry bacon until lightly browned. Drain all but two tablespoons of bacon drippings from the pan. To the bacon, add the abalone or fish, potato, onion and garlic. Saute ingredients are golden brown.

Add the hot water, cover and simmer until the abalone or fish and potato are tender. Add remaining ingredients and stir until well blended. Serve piping hot.
