1/2 beef brisket - trimmed
1 pkg lipton dry onion soup

Directions:
Directions:
Place briskett in broiling pan - fat side up - rub in the dry onion soup. Wrap TIGHT with aluminum foil - so that no air can escape.

Put in 250 degree oven - cook for 8 to 12 hours.

Remove from oven - remove meat from pan and let cool for about 15 minutes - while it is cooling - make gravy out of the drippings (make roux with a bit a flour mixed into drippings - let thicken - slowly add some water - keeping heat up - with salt and pepper)

Slice the briskett thinly (electric knife works best) across the grain - enjoy with the gravy and some great mashed potatoes.
