2 c sugar
1 1/2 c corn oil
3 eggs
2 t vanilla
3 c flour
1 t baking soda
1 t salt
1/4 t ground cloves
1 t cinnamon
5 c diced apples
1 c chopped walnuts

Cream together sugar and oil. Add eggs, one at a time, and vanilla. Sift together flour, soda, salt and spices. Add dry ingredients to apples and nuts. Then add creamed mixture. It will be difficult to stir + will result in a stiff, doughy mixture. Bake in greased 9 x 13 at 325 for 55- 60 minutes.
