8 Boneless breasts
1 lb. mushrooms sliced thin
1 lb. thick sliced bacon
c. butter or margarine
toothpicks
1/4 c. white wine
1/4 c. whipping cream

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400. Cut breasts lengthwise in 2. Lay each piece of chicken on a slice of bacon. Top each slice of chicken with sliced mushroom. Season with a little salt and pepper. Wrap with 1 slice bacon and fasten with a toothpick. Butter a shallow baking dish. Place tightly the chicken rolls in the dish. Dot with remaining butter. Cover the dish and back approximately 40 minutes until chicken is almost done. Baste occasionally. Uncover and bake approximately 15 minutes until bacon is brown and crisp. Remove chicken to another dish and keep warm. Drain small amount of liquid into a sauce pan. Thicken with either flour or cornstarch mixture. Gradually add the remaining liquid. Stir until thickened. Add white wine and whipping cream. Stir constantly until smooth. Remove cover from chicken and pour the sauce over. Serve immediately.
