1 1/2 c sugar
1/2 c shortening
2 eggs
1/2 c mashed bananas
4 tbsp sour cream
1 tsp baking soda
2 c flour
add chopped nuts if desired

Mix and bake as any butter cake in loaf pan or square, flat pan. Good with brown sugar icing (caramel)
