1 lb box of powdered sugar
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 stick salted butter (softened)

Directions:
Directions:
Beat with electric mixer 2 minutes, scraping bowl often. For thinner consistency, add milk a little at a time. Frosts one 8-inch layer cake.

Variations:
Chocolate: add 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder and beat an extra minute.
Lemon Lover: replace milk with 1/4 cup lemon juice, add 1 tsp. finely grated lemon rind.
Orange: Replace milk with 1/4 cup orange juice, add 1 tsp. finely grated orange rind.
Sour Cream Tang: add 3 tbsp. sour cream and beat an extra minute.
