1 large bowl of dry broken up bread,
1 large chopped onion,
2 apples cut up with skins,
2-3 tsp. sage - to taste,
2 tsp. salt - to taste,
1 tsp. pepper,
2 tsp. All Spice,
2 cans mushroom soup
4 eggs
11/2 sticks butter
turkey giblets

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together all the ingredients in the large bowl except eggs, giblets butter and mushroom soup. Boil the giblets for 30 min. in a pan with water just coving them. Take out giblet, let cool, cut off meat, add to dry ingredients. Add mushroom soup, butter and egg yokes to the water from the giblets and stir until creamy. Beat the egg whites until stiff. Stir in the water mixture over dry ingredients, then fold in the egg whites. Stuff the turkey, place left over in foil or a casserole dish and put in over the last 11/2 hrs. of cooking turkey.

It took me a long time to learn how to make this wonderful stuffing cause mom didn't have it written down. I finally asked her to make some with me to pin down what and how much. It is my favorite with special memories. Now my family loves it as part of our Thanksgiving tradition.
