6-8 chicken breasts or 1 cut up chicken
garlic salt
salt and pepper
vegetable oil
barbecue sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Place chicken pieces in a large pan and season well. Brush with vegetable oil or spray with Pam.
Bake for a couple hours at 300, then take out of the over about 30 minutes before you are ready to serve. Put chicken on the grill over medium fire and coat with sauce. Cook for 15-20 minutes continually basting.

The chicken is very tender and pre-cooking in the oven cuts out the time you have to have it on the grill. It's very good served with Grandma's potato salad.
