4 large McIntosh apples (peeled, cored, and sliced)
1 egg
2 tbsp. sugar
2 c. plain flour
1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla extreat
2 tsp. baking powder
½ c. powdered sugar
½ cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together the egg, sugar, flour, milk, and vanilla extract. Once mixed add the baking powder. Heat a large skillet with oil or butter. Dip apples into the flour mixture and pan fry until brown. Drain the apples and sprinkle with powdered sugar and cinnamon. Serve warm, alone or with ice cream.
