½ lb. butter
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. plain flour
½ tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º
Spray a tube pan with Baker’s Joy cooking spray and sprinkle with flour. You need a large electric mixer or a hand beater. Add the vanilla to the milk, and the baking powder to the flour. In mixer bowl combine sugar and butter. Add one egg at a time, blending well. Add the vanilla to the milk. After the eggs have been folded into the mixture, begin adding the milk, a little bit at a time. Beat well and begin slowly adding flour, slowly. Beat until smooth. Pour into pan and bake for 1-1½ hours, until a toothpick comes out clean.
