3 T. butter, plus extra for dish
2 T. flour
1/2 lb. sliced mushrooms
1/4 c. chopped onions
2 finely chopped garlic cloves
1/2 t. garlic powder
1/2 t. cayenne pepper
1 1/2 c. heavy cream
1/2 c. chicken stock
10 oz. box frozen chopped broccoli, thawed and drained
2 c. shredded cheddar and Monterrey jack blend
3 c. cooked brown rice
salt and pepper

Directions:
Preheat oven to 425. Butter a 9x13 dish. Melt 3 T. butter in a large pot. Add flour and stir constantly until lightly browned. Add remaining ingredients through chicken stock. Stir. Add broccoli and 1 cup cheese and season with salt and pepper. Pour into dish and top with 1 cup cheese. Bake until bubbly-20 minutes.
