1 stick (1/2 c.) butter or margarine
1 can (14.5 oz.) Kroger Red Tart pitted Cherries
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 c. milk
1 tsp. baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Melt butter or margarine in an 8" or 9" square baking pan. Drain cherries, set aside, and reserve juice. In a separate bowl, mix dry ingredients together, add milk. Pour onto the melted butter or margarine, but DO NOT STIR. Spoon cherries on top of mixture, then sprinkle with 1/2 cup reserved juice. Bake at 350º for 40 to 50 minutes or until golden brown. Serve hot or warm with whipped topping or ice cream, if desired.
