1 cake yeast
2 Tbsp. lukewarm water
5 cups flour
1 Tsp. soda
1 Tsp. salt
3 Tsp. baking powder
4 Tbsp. sugar
1 cup shortening
2 cups buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water. Sift all dry ingredients together. Work in shortening. Add milk and yeast last. ROll out and cut with biscuit cutter.

Bake at 400º for 12-15 minutes.
