2 lbs ground chuck
1 can rotel
1 large can tomato puree
1 T garlic salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 T cumin
1 T chili powder
1 can refried beans
1 medium red onion, chopped
1 tsp salt
2 tsp cayenne (optional)

Brown ground chuck with salt, pepper, and chopped onion. Drain well and put into 8 quart pan. Add remaining ingredients, plus 12-16 oz water, depending on how thick you like your chili. Only use cayenne if you desire extra spicy. Stir ingredients well, and simmer on low heat for about an hour, stirring occasionally to make sure it does not stick. Serve with shredded cheese and favorite crackers or corn chips. Serves 6.
