2 c. boiling water
2 c. All Bran cereal
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. shortening
4 eggs
1 qt buttermilk (or sour milk)
4 c. Bran Buds cereal
6 c. Flour
5 t. baking soda
2 t. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix boiling water with All Bran cereal ; let cool then add the sugar & shortening that have been creamed together. Add eggs, one at a time blending well after each one. Add the buttermilk, Bran Buds, flour, soda and salt; mix well.
Refrigerate in covered container and use as needed. Will keep up to 60 days in refrigerator. Do not mix when spooning into muffin pans. Bake in greased muffin tins for 18-20 min. at 400 º
