3-4# Whole Roaster Chicken
1cup water
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp parsley
1 doz eggs
5 cups flour
1 tbsp Lawry's seasoning salt
4 cups low salt commercial chicken broth

Directions:
Directions:
Place chicken in roasting pan. Pour water over top. Season with salt, 1/2 pepper & 1/2 parsley. Cover tightly with lid or tented foil. Bake @ 350degrees until internal temp reaches 145 degrees. Uncover and reserve juices. Continue cooking, uncovered, until golden brown (160 degrees).
Drain reserved broth & add commercial broth to large pot.
While Chicken continues to cook scramble eggs & gradually add flour. Should be a very elastic consistency. Add Lawry's, pepper & parsley.
Bring broth to a simmer & begin adding dumpling mixture by small spoonfulls. As they float to the surface, remove & place in a bowl, making room for more dumplings.
Continue this process.
Place all cooked dumplings back into hot broth & simmer while carving the chicken.
