2 egg whites
2/3 cup sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 small package Nestle's "Mini" chocolate chips(use Mini)
1/2 cup chopped pecan or walnuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350
Beat egg whites until "frothy"
Add :sugar,salt, vanilla. Beat until "stiff"
Fold in mini chips and nuts.

Cover cookie sheet with foil. Drop by tsp. onto cookie sheet. Put in oven and turn oven OFF. Leave in oven overnight or 4-6 hours.

This recipe came to me from Margaret Colburn, a wonderful elderly hair client of mine, from Weare, NH.
These are so good and easy to make. I usually make them late in the day and just leave them in the oven overnight. They melt in your mouth.
