Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
1 or 2 cans crushed tomatoes
6 large green onions, trimmed and chopped
1 large can beef broth
1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
1 head cabbage, chopped
2 cans green beans
2 green peppers, seeded and chopped
2 lbs. carrots, peeled and chopped
1 bunch celery, trimmed and chopped
salt and ground black pepper to taste
Curry powder to taste, optional
parsley, optional
Hot sauce to taste, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Place all ingredients in a large cooking pot. Add water as needed. Boil rapidly for 10 minutes, reduce heat and simmer until vegetables are tender.
